Key West Watersports

One of the top things to do in Key West is soaking up the sun on the crystal blue water. Key West is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, and with year-round weather averaging nearly 85 degrees, there’s no better way to cool off. Our Old Town location provides easy access to the most popular water activities in Key West.

Since you’ve saved money on accommodations by choosing one of our inexpensive motel rooms, you have a higher budget to go out and enjoy the Caribbean-like atmosphere provided by unique Key West!

Key West Fishing Charters

Whether fishing in the back country, flats or deep sea, the Florida Keys are the place to go for the catch of a lifetime. Anglers from all over the world visit to fish our Florida waters, successfully catching snapper, grouper, mahi mahi, tuna and more. Key West fishing charters offer flats, light tackle or deep sea fishing on private or shared charters. Or, bring your own gear and head to the White Street Pier where you’ll enjoy the serenity of the ocean without even leaving the island.

SCUBA Diving Key West

Of course the Florida Keys is one of the most popular diving destinations in the entire world! We have coral reefs in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary which are the home to the third largest barrier reef in the world.

The types of dives you can schedule are endless and include:

  • Shallow Dive Trips
  • Wreck Dives
  • Advanced Technical Dives
  • Night Dives

The Inner Reefs are 3 feet to 30 feet in depth and are abundant in marine and coral life. The Outer Reefs (35 to 40 feet in depth) provide deeper dives and views of magnificent coral formations and exotic fish. Night dives are also available.

Wreck dives in Key West include the Cayman Salvage Master (95 feet in depth). It’s a 180 foot long steel hull tender that has been submerged since 1985. You can see goliath groupers as well as moray eels. The Vandenberg is 100 feet in depth, and 520 feet long. It’s a former World War II boat which also tracked Gemini and Apollo rockets. You can view its bridge, radar dishes and superstructure, amongst a variety of marine life.

Snorkeling in Key West

Not Scuba certified? No problem! You can still enjoy the beautiful coral reefs aboard a variety of snorkeling cruises. For first timers and experts alike, staff is onboard to ensure a safe and exciting experience for the entire family.

Spot hundreds of species of fish, lobsters, sea turtles and more aboard one of the many Key West snorkeling excursions. Choose from morning trips, dolphin and snorkel combo trips, sunset snorkel trips and more for your custom adventure of a lifetime.
